Cruise control on your Perraro electric bike or trike functions similarly to that in a car. To activate it, simply hold the down arrow while twisting the throttle. The bike or trike will attempt to maintain the speed corresponding to the throttle's position at the time of activation.
For instance, if you twist the throttle to a position that would normally sustain a speed of 20mph and hold down the arrow, cruise control will activate and set to maintain 20mph. This means that even if your current speed is below 20mph, the bike or trike will accelerate to reach and maintain that set speed. For cruising at lower speeds, just slightly twist the throttle and hold the down arrow.
You can deactivate cruise control at any time by applying the brakes, which will also cut power to the motor, as in regular operation.
