The suspension fork of your electric bike or trike is designed to be adjustable to suit different terrains and accommodate your weight. This adjustment impacts how your bike handles, particularly when navigating bumps and during braking. In certain scenarios, you might find it beneficial to have the suspension locked for a fully rigid experience.
Your suspension fork features a lockout function, making it rigid, and the tension can be fine-tuned to your preference.
To adjust the suspension fork, use the blue knob. The opposite black knob does not serve any functional purpose. To completely lock the suspension, turn the blue knob clockwise towards the “lock” direction as indicated until it stops moving.
For increased stiffness, continue turning the blue knob clockwise towards the “lock” indicator. Conversely, to soften the suspension, turn the knob counterclockwise towards the “open” indicator.
